  1. Obtaining Interim Releases of Database Developer
  2.  
  3. There are 4 ways to obtain interim releases of Database Developer.
  4.  
  5. 1.  If you have just purchased Database Developer, and a newer release exists
  6. then the release that you have, that newer release will be sent to you
  7. automatically when you register the product.
  8.  
  9. 2.  Patch files for Database Developer and add on's are located in the library
  10. 13 of Clarion's forum on CompuServe. Patch files will patch from 1 release of
  11. Database Developer directly to the next release.  Therefore, if you have
  12. Database Developer release 3006 and wanted to update to 3008, you would first
  13. need to patch to 3007, then patch to 3008.   You can find the release that you
  14. are using by choosing "Help" then "About.." from anywhere in the Database
  15. Developer environment.  For information on the current interim release, check
  16. the "News Flash" announcement in the Clarion forum on CompuServe, or contact
  17. our customer service department at (800) 354-5444.

  19. 3.  You may purchase a new set of interim release disks from our Sales and
  20. Customer Service Department.  For a small FEE+Shipping you can get INSTALLS of
  21. CDD, Dos Extender, ToolChest (GUI, VGA, API), Finance LIB, ZipCode LIB, GUI
  22. Kit, VGA Color Kit, Library API, and Graphics LIB. The update to the
  23. Communications LEM is Free+Shipping.  Also available is a TOOLS PATCH which
  24. will PATCH the Dos Extender and ALL Add-Ons (GUI, VGA, API, FIN, ZIP, GRA,
  25. COM) from the previous release.  Call (800) 354-5444 for more information.

  27. 4.  You may purchase a membership in Clarion's Automatic Interim Release
  28. Service (AIRS).  AIRS ensures that you receive INSTALLS for each release of
  29. Database Developer, and add-on's (via Priority Mail) without calling Customer
  30. Service, without seeing it over CompuServe, or without learning about it from
  31. a friend. A 12 month membership to this program is $99 for US and Canada, an
  32. $199 for international.  A Premium AIRS membership is also available.   For
